Flap Guide Locator

This is a great piece of work ,machined out of one piece of metal. Each notch represents one stage of flap ( up,1,2,5,10,15,25,30,40)

Note Flap 1 ang flap 15 have a raised notch, This indicates the importance of these two flap positions for the Boeing 737.

Note: The flap lever pictured below is sprung loaded, with resistance being held from an upward motion , making sure that the flap lever is always held in position.

The Flap lever locks into the flap guide locator by a small protrusion ( right hand picture)

The flap lever is slid down a

metal arm and connected by

a single rivet ( left hand picture)
