Flaps Knob
The Boeing 737 Flap Knob is located on the right side of the throttle, and is engraved in black with the word FLAP in capital letters. See below
You will notice that the flaps knob has avey stealth like attachment , there are two small pins that go from one side of th flap knob to the other and pass straight through the shaft of the flap lever arm. The flap knob and handle can take quite a beating , so in the design it was found that screws just would not do and that pins were the better option, the pins can be taken out with a small hole punch and then pulled out with a pair of pliers. The shaft of the FLAP lever inserts straight ito the FLAP knob and the pins go through to connect. I would also suggest this method for your flightsim.
The FLAP handle is sprung loaded to make
sure that the lever stays in the selected
detent position.
