Reverse Throttle knobs: These are the two knobs connected to the two levers forward from the throttle levers 1 &2 (they stick out the front) they are attached buy one single screw. Look at the picture on the right you will notice that the curve in the knob is about finger size and that the indents read 1 & 2. They also correspond with the throttle handle numbers.

When the aircraft touches down and the power is pulled right back, both reversers 1 &2 are able to be pulled in an upward motion, this activates the reverse thrust “lots of noise on landing”. When the aircraft slows to 60 kts reverse thrust can be taken out by advancing both throttles, this forces both reversers back to the down position and normal power is restored.

There are a few ways of simulating this on you throttle and it will depend on what type of lever you construct, but for now take a look at the images and realize the practicality and the function of the Boeing 737 reverser knobs
