Speed Bake Lever

Below are some pictures of the Boeing 737 Speed Brake Lever

In the top right hand picture (bottom left hand corner of picture) you can see a small square like object sticking out from the throttle lever with a small hole above it. This allows the speed brake to be locked in the down position.

In the top left hand pictue you can see a black triangle. Where this triangle is in relation the speed brake decal ( black and white marker strip with white lettering to the right of the speed brake lever) deployment is on the outside of the aircraft is. It is this black triangle and not the small square bar ( as in top paragraph) that marks the speed brake position
